1. Introduction
Falaa Things ("we," "us," or "our") provides a platform for buying and selling used electronics, primarily iPhones and other gadgets. Our services include device evaluation, pricing, listing, and transaction facilitation.
2. Selling Process
When you choose to sell your device through Falaa Things, you agree to the following process:
Device Submission: You must send us your iPhone or other electronic device for evaluation. This allows us to:
- Thoroughly inspect the physical condition of the device
- Verify all technical specifications and functionality
- Identify any faults, issues, or necessary repairs
- Authenticate the device to ensure it's genuine
Shipping Through Ghana Post Office
To ensure secure and traceable delivery, all devices must be shipped through our partner, Ghana Post Office. We provide detailed shipping instructions and a unique reference code after you initiate the selling process.
As soon as we receive your device at our facility, we will contact you via WhatsApp or phone to confirm receipt and begin the evaluation process.
Based on our comprehensive evaluation, we will provide you with a fair market price offer for your device. This offer is valid for 7 business days.
3. iCloud Locked Devices Policy
Important Notice
We accept iCloud locked devices, but sellers must verify ownership and provide necessary documentation to prove the device is not stolen or associated with any illegal activity.
By submitting an iCloud locked device, you certify that:
- You are the legitimate owner of the device
- You have the legal right to sell the device
- You can provide proof of purchase if requested
- The device is not associated with any fraudulent activity
Devices that cannot be verified as legally owned will be returned to the sender at their expense, and local authorities may be notified if we suspect theft.
4. Pricing and Listing
Once you accept our offer:
- We will professionally list your device on our website with accurate descriptions and photographs
- The listing price will be determined by us based on market value and device condition
- You grant us the authority to negotiate with potential buyers on your behalf
5. Transaction Process
When a buyer purchases your device:
We handle the entire sales process including:
- Secure payment processing through mobile money (MomoPay) or banking options
- Packaging and shipping to the buyer through reliable carriers
- Delivery to the buyer's nearest Ghana Post Office anywhere in Ghana
You will receive payment for your sold device within the next business day after the transaction is completed and payment is confirmed from the buyer.
6. Device Ownership Transfer
By agreeing to sell your device through Falaa Things, you:
- Warrant that you are the legal owner of the device with full rights to sell it
- Confirm the device is not stolen, locked, or associated with any fraudulent activity
- Transfer ownership rights to the buyer upon completed sale
- Are responsible for removing all personal data from the device before submission
7. Fees and Commission
Our service includes a commission fee which is deducted from the final sale price. This fee covers:
- Device evaluation and authentication
- Marketing and listing expenses
- Transaction processing fees
- Packaging and shipping costs
- Customer support services
The exact commission structure will be disclosed to you before you confirm your decision to sell through us.
8. Limitations of Liability
While we take utmost care in handling your device, Falaa Things shall not be liable for:
- Devices lost in transit during initial submission (we recommend using tracked shipping)
- Devices that cannot be sold within a reasonable timeframe (typically 60 days)
- Market fluctuations that affect device value after submission
- Devices that are damaged during our evaluation process (extremely rare as we handle devices professionally)
9. Agreement
By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
